Premiile Bafta 2022 – The British Academy of Film and Television Arts ( BAFTA ) a anunțat nominalizările pentru a 75-a ediție a premiilor și ca de fiecare dată, avem și bune și rele. ”Dune” a primit 11 nominalizări, fiind urmat de ”Power of the Dog” cu 8, ”Belfast” cu 6 și ”No Time to Die”, ”Licorice Pizza” și ”West Side Story” cu câte 5 fiecare.
Pentru cel mai bun film, alături de titlurile amintite mai sus, ”Dune”, ”Belfast”, ”The Power of the Dog” și ”Licorice Pizza”, avem în cursă și ”Don’t Look Up”.
Trebuie avut în vedere faptul că BAFTA și-a schimbat anul trecut tot procesul de votare în urma scandalului apărut în 2020, an în care în materie de regie au fost nominalizați doar bărbați, iar la toate categoriile pentru actori, atât femei cât și bărbați, nu s-a regăsit nicio persoană de culoare. Coincidență sau nu, gala BAFTA 2022 din următorul an, 2021, este considerată cea mai diversă și inclusivă din istoria premiilor.
Astfel, este clară direcția în care se îndreaptă nominalizările și anul acesta, cu foarte multe filme indie datorită sistemului nou de vot care este conceput cu scopul de a oferi șanse egale și filmelor mai mici, iar de asemenea cu cel mai mare număr de femei nominalizate vreodată.
De exemplu, dacă o să ridicați sprânceana când o să vedeți că în ciuda tuturor nominalizărilor pentru ”Dune”, Denis Villenueve nu a fost nominalizat pentru Best Director, puteți să mulțumiți noului sistem.
